I have been seeing Peggy here for over 10 years. I have pin-straight blonde hair that shows every flaw in a bad haircut and is hard to shape and give volume to, and it took me a long to find "my" stylist when my last favorite closed shop to move away. When hubby and I moved to Queens from Nyack in 2018, I tried 2 places in NYC before the disappointment led me to decide to just keep making the trek to Piermont and Peggy. We live in Bronxville now, I imagine there are great salons nearby, but I don't care. I have no need to look around, no desire to be overcharged for a bad style from a stranger just for the sake of looking for something I already know where to find, and as such am a loyal customer. I drive 30 mins. each way and feel great about my haircut every time. Peggy is 100% worth it, and on top of the praise is also a lovely human being. I don't get color done, so can't speak to that, but all the ladies that I see coming and going from this salon look like a million dollars. These folks care!

VERY lucky to have access to Pamaya Red and the wonderful talent there! Iala is masterful with color and dealing with gray, making it look so natural and no harsh lines. Aleida is expert with scissors, shaping while keeping my length, and a bonus bouncy curl blow-out too!

Excellent ambiance, decor, and staff. I went for the first time in an emergency and my regular salon was not able to fit me in. It was just days before the holidays and a weekend but they said come on in and we will figure it out. They came as a recommended salon by the locals and a woman who whose haircut and color was absolutely beautiful so I made the appointment with confidence and I am very grateful. I was so happy with the results as a middle aged woman with tons of stubborn gray that wants to remain natural blond. Not an easy process nor a healthy one for hair. Due to new products that are actually hair healthy I have decided to stick with Pamaya and the stylist who performed her art work and long time talent in the celebrity world for a new client from out of state and made sure I was happy with my results. High end quality but yet still affordable pricing in keeping with the competition of other local salons with similar services. I found an everyone authentic, good ole genuine down to earth folks like the rest of us! ✨💫💫

After a number of serious hair misses in Rockland, I was referred to Elida by a neighbor. Though I was hesitant to go through the strides of trying someone new again... I am glad I did. Elida is patient, explains her process well, and listens. The outcome was excellent, the price point is perfect, and the salon staff are kind & courteous.

You leave the salon relaxed because it's a mellow environment especially of Hannah does your hair. You can have a cup of coffee or a doughnut on the house but you get quality service and a stylist of the highest caliber. After a haircut walk into town and have something to eat As Piermont is pleasing to visit.
